Today we ventured down to Chattanooga for the day to visit my parents' church for their VBS carnival. Honestly, I wasn't looking forward to the trip because a car ride with a toddler who hates to be buckled down and a newborn isn't my idea of fun. But it was worth all the stress to see the smiles on my girls' faces and hear their laughter and excitement.
There were two huge water slides, a dunk tank, and, of course, carnival fare including hotdogs, cotton candy, popcorn, and snow cones.

My big girl came flying down off the high slide, not a bit afraid...And she did it over and over and over again
Look at that happy little face!

Kate had a blast! Cora was a little young to fully appreciate the slides, but both girls really enjoyed spending time with Gram Gram & Papa and their cousins.
Even little Miss Annabeth joined in on the fun. She has just started cooing, and it is too adorable!
Do you have fun plans this weekend?

I love the 31 day challenge! What a wonderful idea. This is something I should do with my kiddos. Not only is it an extra motivation to spend time with your kids, but it will also get you in the daily habit. Thanks!
