Day 27: Party on with the Letter B!

We just finished up our study of the letter B, so since our "A" party was so much fun, I thought we'd have a "B" party.

This week we read books on ballerinas and bread making and butterflies and bears.

We read the Bible story about the Tower of Babel and listened to Beethoven.

We read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and discussed the life cycle of the butterfly. Kate even made her own butterfly.

Kate memorized Matthew 5:8

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."

Cora and I worked on learning the nursery rhyme "Baa Baa Black Sheep."

We blew bubbles and did bubble paints

So, to culminate our week of all things B, we had a "B" party!

Kate helped me create a list of foods beginning with B. Here's what we had:

  • Bread, Butter, & Blackberry jam
  • Bananas with peanut butter
  • Blueberries
  • Blackberries
  • Blueberry frozen yogurt popsicles
I also made this Butterfly sandwich. The girls thought it was pretty neat.

And a "B" party wouldn't be complete without Brownies...

And a Blue Balloon!

Blessings to you!

  1. These are such cute "B" ideas. We just finished B at our house a little over a week ago. I'd love to have you link this up to Titus 2 Tuesday on Cornerstone Confessions. Hope to see you there.
